This is an awesome street rod! Custom built by a New Mexico body shop approx 10 years ago. The frame is a boxed 1932 Chevrolet truck frame. The body is a 1930 Chrysler. It is titled as a 1930 Chrysler, with a New Mexico assigned VIN number. It was originally a 4 door body. It was custom converted into a 2 door roadster body. All components are either original or hand crafted. This is a one off, all steel custom car. There is NO OTHER LIKE IT! The upholstery was custom designed and produced by a New Mexico Upholstery shop. All floor boards and trunk floor are steel.
The power is supplied by a Chevrolet 454 big block. It features a mildly aggressive cam, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock Carburetor, chromed valve covers, HEI ignition, chromed coolant recovery, chromed air filter and large tube side headers. The transmission is a Turbohydromatic 350 with cooler and Hurst shifter. The final drive is a Winters Street Rod Quick Change rear axle, 4 Wheel disc brakes with 11″ Wilwood disc brake and ventilated disc on rear wheels. Comes with an extra set of racing gears for rear axle. America Racing front salt flat type aluminum wheels. This great hot rod includes a Vega steering box, 4″ Drop front axle, 1930 Ford style Grill and Nose, stainless steel tubular fuel tank, dash gauges, Grant steering wheel, chopped windshield and rear view mirrors.
