1966 FORD GALAXIE 500 XL CONVERTIBLE . . . Only 6360 Galaxie 500 XL Convertibles Were Produced In 1966. This Car Features The 390 CID Motor With A 4 BBL Carburetor. The Automatic Transmission Shifter Is Mounted In The Factory Console In Between Factory Bucket Seats, It Has An Older Ford AC Unit Installed Under The Dash, However, The Compressor Is Missing Under The Hood. The Power Top Has Recently Been Replaced. The Tires Were Recently Replaced And Includes Factory Type Wheel Covers. The Dual Exhaust Protrudes Under The Rear Bumper And Has A Nice Mellow Sound. Body panels are super solid, with no apparent filler. Floorboard under seat has had repairs, and 2 or 3 minor pin holes in truck. This Is An Exceptional Vehicle, Especially Considering She Is Over 50 Years Old. The Odometer Is Showing 85,000, But There Is No Way To Determine If It Is The True Miles.
